Lil Wayne and Michael Phelps on SNL together

This is interesting. Hip Hop’s Lil Wayne and Olympic Gold Medalist, Michael Phelps are to collaborate as hosts of SNL on the 34th Season’s premier. The episode is to air September 13th.

I’m curious about Lil Wayne’s comedic skills. It could be pretty out there.

DMXs new reality show “This Life of Mine”

DMX is coming out with a new reality show that is to be about his family life, his legal challenges and self-rehabilitation.

“In many ways, my life has been an open book,” DMX said in a statement. “But I haven’t always been the one writing the story. With this show, however, people will get to see and hear with their own eyes and ears what really goes on in my life and I think they’ll come to understand me a little bit better with each episode.”

“When we were approached about doing this show, we knew right away that we wanted to be involved. DMX is a complex man and this show will reveal his many sides: the street side and the spiritual side, all rolled up in one,” said Ernie Romero, CEO of After Platinum Entertainment.

The Game- My Life Trailer and trying to battle Jay-Z

The Game is trying real hard to get Jay-Z to reply to his battle call but Jay-Z just won’t have it.

“I’m too disrespectful for Jay-Z, I go to hard. His beef is mediocre beef, it’s more swag and less hardcore. Me, I go in on your grandma, your kids and your girl….it will get ugly and I don’t mind. I have a whole coast to back me. My coast will turn their backs on whoever I turn my back on. So basically, let me commit suicide because I’m the only cat to commit suicide and resurrect every time. So for Jay to say that about me, that’s cool man because he’s Jay-Z and I’m just lil ol’ Game. But if you fuck with me I’ll turn to a beast, and ill rip ya head off..bust ya lips,” Game said.

“I can be a fan of Jay and still rip him limb from limb lyrically and still be a fan. After I finish him off, I’m still going to listen to Reasonable Doubt afterwards. I’ll kiss Jay goodbye with his own lips. I’m going to make him mad enough to where he has to say something. Jay imma make you so mad you gonna have to diss me…[laughs] I need him to do it, I got an album coming out; help me.

A lesson for people everywhere: Don’t Ever Diss Hip Hop

“I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance. Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music … I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.”

Remember these comments made by Oasis’ front man.

Jay-Z  then responded with a big diss at the festival by playing an Oasis song then droppin’ into “99 Problems.” Later he made a surprise appearance with Kanye and dropped a few  lines about it on his new “Jockin’ Jay-Z” track.

“That bloke from Oasis said I can’t play guitar/ Somebody should have told him I’m a fu**ing Roc star.”

This was Gallagher’s rescent response:

“I wasn’t saying I was better than Jay-Z as a person or rock was greater than hip-hop as a thing or whatever it is,” Gallagher told NME. “I said what I said, and it was wrong, or it was taken wrong, and now all this.”

Here is a lesson, don’t ever diss Hip Hop or a Hip Hop great like Jay-Z.

All hip hop MCs, DJs, Graffiti Artists and Dancers receive extensive training in the art of battling.
